Curated Web Archives

Archival Collections curates a collection of websites in an effort to preserve and provide access to this material for future generations. Currently, the Archive-It service from the Internet Archive is used for this purpose.

From our Archive-It landing page, you can search for content by keyword or URL, if known.

Included in Archive-it are versions of websites for ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ and ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾-related websites, digital manuscript collections, websites for organizations that we collect and document (Historical Collections), and J.R.R. Tolkien Scholarship and Fandom.

Our subscription to Archive-It began in 2011.  There are a few website captures from 2009 when the department tested Archive-It.
